CONSTITUTION:When telephone reservation is made by the transmission side, a processor 3 of a transmission-side facsimile device confirms the existence of telephone reservation on a basis of stored contents of a memory 4; and if this existence is detected, the processor 3 transmits a procedure interrupting signal to a receiving-side facsimile device and sounds a buzzer 8. When the operator hooks off the receiver and depresses an operation button, the buzzer 8 is stopped, and a call signal is originated from a call signal tone originator 9, and a public telephone line C is switched to a telephone set 2 by a channel switching part 11. In the receiving side, when the procedure interrupting signal is received, the processor 3 sounds the buzzer 8, and the line C is switched to the telephone set 2 by the same operation as the transmission side.
