Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an exact printed matter by ensuring the movement of type trains alone whenever they are striken by arranging types, a slit section, halting holes, halting projections, shifting arms and a reinforcing rib section on a highly elastic plate in a specified positional relationship.
CONSTITUTION: A marking is made for required types 21...2n on a roughly upper half of a plate made of metal, a high molecular compound or the like at fixed intervals and slit sections 31...3n are provided between type trains. Halting holes 41...4n are provided at the positions corresponding to the positions of the types at the lower part of the plate 1. Halting holes 71...79 and halting holes 710...715 are arranged for halting projections 5 and 6. Shifting arms 8 and 9 are provided following the projections and a reinforcing rib section 10 is provided at the bottom of the plate 1 from the right to left ends thereof.
