Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve noise reduction operation obtained through a limiter function with a simple constitution to attain almost a theoretical value, by providing an LPF at an input side of a limiter circuit. CONSTITUTION:An LPF5 is provided at an input side of a limiter circuit 3, and limiter function is made after attenuating high frequency component of noise included in a signal. Even if the harmonics of noise appear due to non-linear effect of this limiter circuit 3, the reflected part near the carrier is made small and the projection in the noise component is eliminated to lower the level of noise component to almost a theoretical value.
