Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an easy to operate mechanical press by incorporating toggle mechanisms to a C-frame, moving a slide upward and downward and disposing driving mechanism members thereof aside the rear of a die space.
CONSTITUTION: A flywheel 4 is driven by a main motor 37, and when a clutch brake 5 is turned ON by the signal of a run button, the turning force of the wheel 4 is transmitted to a pinion 7, a gear 8 and an eccentric part 10. A connecting rod 11 is oscillated by the effect of the part 10, and a slide 3 is moved upward and downward by means of the toggle mechanisms of upper, lower links 14, 15. To make slide adjustment which is the lower dead point adjustment of the slide 3, an adjusting motor 18 is started.
