Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled brazing sheet inhibiting the occurrence of pitting corrosion by adding an adequate amount of Zn to the core material of a sheet having a 2-layered structure composed of the core material of an Al alloy contg. Mn and a brazing filler metal of an Al alloy contg. Si. CONSTITUTION:A core material of an Al alloy contg. at least 0.1-1.5wt% Mn is combined with a brazing filler metal of an Al alloy contg. at least 7-15wt% Si to obtain a brazing sheet having a 2-layered structure. At this time, to the core material is added 0.1-1wt% Zn. A heat exchanger made of Al alloy using this brazing sheet shows superior local corrosion resistance even in severe environment using internally circulating water.
