Abstract

PURPOSE:To display both video signals correspondingly with each other very easily, separating a playback signal into a video signal and a data video signal, splitting a video screen, and displaying the video signal for a part and the data video signal for the rest. CONSTITUTION:One gate of a gate circuit 18 is closed only when a video signal is transmitted from a video tape recorder VTR17, and another gate is closed only when a data video signal is transmitted from the VTR17. The data video signal is stored in a memory 29, controlled at a control circuit 30 for readout, D/A-converted 31 and multiplexed at a demultiplexer 32. This data signal is separated to respective channels and converted 25 into a data video signal via LPFs 33, 34 and given to mixing circuit 19. The video signal from the gate 18 is mixed with the data signal at a mixing circuit 19 to display the video on a part of a screen of a TV receiver 28 and a data picture on the rest.
