Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a smooth management of residual oil level for an underground tank by trnsmitting the residal oil level to a remote point by wire or wireless. CONSTITUTION:A measuring device 4 is provided on underground tanks 1, 1' and 1'' to detect residual oil level by measuring the gasoline level stored. The measuring device 4 automatically detects the residual oil level and the measured value of the residual oil level is transmitted to a receiver 8 in a gas station control room 2 or oil tank base 3 from a transmitter 7. A servo 8' converts the information transmitted from the transmitter 7 into a mechanical force and the residual oil level is indicated on a display 9 with a follow up.
