Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the sequential supply of parts to a feed conveyor, by taking out the lowest parts case from the stack of parts cases which contain small parts and by taking out the parts from the case.
CONSTITUTION: Two belts 2, 3 are laid on a base 1 in the longitudinal direction thereof. A storage section I for parts cases is provided at one end of the base 1. The lowest one of the parts cases is taken out by the vertical movement of a support plate 18 and a suction pad and put on the belts 2, 3 and conveyed to a prescribed takeout place where the body 33 of a conveyor is installed so that the body 33 can be moved along the base 1. Parts are taken out from the case by claws 50, 51 provided on the body 33 and transferred to a conveyor 59. When it is found out by the detector 60 of the conveyor 59 that there are no parts thereon, a takeout means etc. are automatically operated to avoid wrong supply of parts.
