Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep input energy constant by providing a main winding and an auxiliary winding around a core, providing a exciting frequency in the auxiliary winding higher than that of the main winding, and varying the magnitude of the exciting current. CONSTITUTION:The main winding 2 is provided around one leg of the core 1. An armature 4 is attached to the other leg so that it is freely moved. The auxiliary winding 3 is provided at the center of both legs. The electromagnet is constituted by said parts, a spring 5, and a stopper 5. The exciting signal frequency of the auxiliary winding 3 is higher than the exciting signal frequency of the main winding 2, and the exciting current flowing in the auxiliary winding is so determined that the armature 4 is not attracted by the core only by said exciting frequency. The magnetic domain structure of the core 1 is always disturbed by the excitation by the auxiliary winding 3. In this constitution, the rise of the exciting current in the random excitation of the electromagnet becomes constat, and the input energy can be kept constant.
