Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an armature by dividing a wound coil into a folding section and the remaining section in such a manner that the folding section is folded flat on the remaining circular section. CONSTITUTION:In a circular initial coil 4, a folding lines 22-1-22-2n are defined with respect to radial lines 15-1-15-2n in such a manner as to be alternate ly at the same angle phi in the same direction. With these folding lines, the area on the initial coil is divided alternately into conductor lines 32 and 34 equal in the shape along the circumference thereof. The conductor section 34 larger in the area is premolded along the folding lines and then, folded tight on the remaining conductor sections 32 to form a flat element coil. This can increase a partial rotary force generated in an armature.
