Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect an electrostatic sensing voltage by a means of detecting an electrostatic sensing voltage due to static charge as variation in electrostatic capacity and then detecting the resonance frequency of a resonating circuit varying with the said variation in capacity. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic sensing voltage due to static charge 3 injected into an insulator film 1, having a charge accumulating function, according to an information signal is led out by an electrode 4 as a reproducing head. The electrostatic sensing voltage led out by this electrode 4 is applied to, for example, the cathode side of a varactor diode 5 as a voltage variable capacity element by being superposed upon a bias voltage applied from a DC power source 6 through a resistance 7. The anode side of the varactor diode 5 is connected to an oscillator 9 through the primary side of a resonance transformer 8, and the varactor diode 5 forms a resonating circuit 10 together with the resonance transformer 8. Its output is detected by a peak detection type circuit 14 consisting of a diode 11, a capacitor 12 and a resistance 13 to generate a detection output 15.
