Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable safe and high efficient operation in such a way that a reclaimer is controlled on the basis of comparison of an actually measured stage changing configuration by means of a detector, with the predetermined reference stage changing configuration at the time of stage changing for the reclaimer, when objects to be carried out, such as ore or the like are drawn out of the heaps.

CONSTITUTION: In case where the operation is progressed into stage changing control to the next lower stage of a heap 4 of the object to be carried out, after the knowledge of the type of the heap 4, the height per stage, etc. obtained through analyses of parameter values of the height of the heap, the safety angle, the number of the stages of the total draw-out, etc., and at the same time as a reclaimer operation controller 8 emits detection starting command to a detector 5, a bucket wheel 3 is moved backward. Then, signals from a supersonic transmit-receive element 6a are indicated to be oriented perpendicularly in the downward direction of the wheel 3. Said controller 8 makes comparison of detection data which have been transmitted through the detector 5, in other words, actually measured stage changing configuration of the heap 5, with the reference stage changing configuration, and on the basis of this configuration comparison the reclaimer is controlled, and the bucket wheel 3 is controlled to the desired stage changing position.
