CONSTITUTION: A steel consisting of, by wt., 0.05W0.15% C, ≤0.05% Cr, 0.10W 0.35% Mn, ≤0.1% Si, ≤0.05% S, 0.01W0.12% Al, ≤0.03% O and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is prepared. The steel satisfies at least one of the equations C% >0.9×Cr%+0.04%, 13>Mn%/S%>7 in case of S%>0.02%, and Si%>0.04%. Thus, the can opening force can be reduced without making the residual thickness of a score smaller.
