  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １　エンジン１の直接噴射式燃焼室２の端面３にキャビ
    ティ４を形成し、キャビティ４の周面５の基本形状を円
    形にし、この基体円形周面６の周方向の適当間隔置きの
    複数箇所に外方に突出する凹面７を形成し、この凹面７
    の両端を基本円形周面６に曲角８ができる形に接続し、
    凹面ンのうちの中央部９よりもスワールＡの風上側の面
    部分１０に燃料が吹当る方向に燃料噴射ノズル１１の噴
    口１２を方向付けた事を特徴とするエンジンの直接噴射
    式燃焼室。 ２　実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載の燃焼室にお
    いて、前記凹面７が凹曲面であるもの。 ３　実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載の燃焼室にお
