Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、光ケーブル用の多心光フアイバ心線の改良に
関するものである◎ 最近、多心光フアイバ心線としてテンシロンメンバのま
わりに複数本の光７アイパ素線を撚合せ、この光フアイ
バ素線の撚合層の外周にシリコンを充填した後焼付けて
断面略円形の緩衝材を形成し、この緩衝材の上にプラス
チック被覆層を設けたものが提案されてｉる（特開閉部
−５Ｈｏ＃号参照）ｏしかし、この構造の多心光フアイ
バ心線は光７アイパ素纏と緩衝材とが密着してこれらの
間のすべりが悪いためこの多心光７アイパ心線に曲げが
加えられると、内＠にある光フアイバ緊線の曲げが緩和
されることがなく光フアイバ素線に大きな応力が加えら
れるので伝送損失が大きく、ま九曲げの外側にある光フ
アイバ索線の伸び歪みが緩和されることがなく光フアイ
バ素線の寿命を短かくする欠点があっ九〇 本発明の目的は、曲げ特性が向上し、伸び歪みを緩和し
寿命を延長することができる多心光フアイバ心線を提供
することＫある。
本発明の実施例を図面を参照しながら詳細にのべると、
図面は本発明に係る多心光ファイバ心＠１０を示し、こ
の多心光７アイパ心線はステンレス線の如き鋼線から成
るテンシロンメンバ１２とそのまわりに撚合された被数
本の光ファイバ素１１１４と仁の光フアイバ緊線の一合
層の外周に設けられ九シリコンオイルの如き粘性液状緩
衝材１６とこの粘性液状緩衝材の上に施されたプラスチ
ック被覆層１８とから成っている。
光フアイバ素線１４は光７アイパＯ外周にシリコン被覆
層部を有する０プラスチック被覆層１８はプラスチック
パイプから成っており、シリコンオイルである粘性液状
緩衝材１６はこのプラスチックパイプの中にテンション
メンバ１２ト光フアイバ素線１４との撚線を挿入し九後
にプラスチックパイプの中に充填される０ このように、緩衝材として粘性液体を用いると、光７ア
イパ素線１４と緩衝材とが密着することなく両者間です
べりが生ずるので多心光７アイパ心＄　１０　Ｋ　ＩＩ
Ｉげが加わっても光７アイパ素線１４に無ｍｎ応力が加
わることがない〇本発明によれば、上記のように、光フ
ァイバ素線と緩衝材とは密着することなくすべりが生ず
るので多心光ファイバ心線の曲げ特性を着しく向上し、
を九光７アイパ素線の伸び歪みが緩和されるので寿命劣
化を防止することができる・

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. テンシロンメンバのまわりに撚合され九複数本の光フア
    イバ素線とこの光フアイバ緊線の撚合層の外周に充填さ
    れた粘性液状緩衝材と前記粘性液状緩衝材の上Ｋｊｌｌ
    ｌされ九プラスチック被傍層とから成ってｉることを特
    徴とする多心光フアイバ心線。
