Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect surely the generation of paper jamming and to remove easily the jammed film, by providing a coating layer in such a way that a transparent or semitransparent film has partial opacity higher than specific values. CONSTITUTION:A coating material is coated on a part of a transparent or semitransparent film consisting of a polymer compd. The kinds of the coating material are not particularly limited; any material which is durable, is highly adhesive, and provides >=60% opacity with relatively small thickness is satisfactory. More specifically, coating liquid consisting of 50wt% acetone, 30wt% acrylic resin and 20wt% satin white is coated on, for example, a polyester film 1 as shown in the figure, and the solvent is allowed to evaporate after drying, whereby a film having a coating layer 2 of 1 micron thickness is obtained. The layer 2 in this case has 65% opacity. Thus, the generation of paper jamming is detected surely.

On the other hand, many copying machines use transparent or translucent films as copy paper for purposes such as overhead projectors, but the optical method described above is not suitable for these films. There was a stalemate that it did not work effectively. In other words, when an optical method is used in a copying machine that uses a conventional transparent or translucent film, light passes through the film and becomes undetectable, resulting in paper jams due to poor paper feeding timing. There was a problem in which the copying machine did not stop quickly in response to a paper jam. In order to solve this problem,
There are some transparent and translucent films with white bands on the market, but even when these commercially available films are used, the optical detection method does not always work effectively and similar problems occur. There are 7.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, an object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, and to provide excellent running characteristics when used in a copying machine having an optical detection method, and to eliminate the occurrence of paper stickiness. The object of the present invention is to provide an electrophotographic film that can be easily detected and easily removed.

As a result of stacking ωl frames to achieve the above object, the present inventor discovered that in order for the optical detection method to operate effectively, an opaque area for detection that has an opacity above a certain value is required for the optical detection method to work effectively. I found out that there should be. Thus,
According to the present invention, there is provided a Toyo photographic film in which a coating layer is provided on a part of a transparent or translucent film, and the opacity of the coated part is 60 or more.

When copying operations are carried out using the photocopy film of the present invention, the presence of a coating layer with an opacity of 6 degrees or more ensures that the optical detection system operates reliably, thereby ensuring that the paper feed timing is adjusted to a predetermined time. It also ensures that the occurrence of a paper jam is detected and the jammed film can be easily removed.

Acetate, polycargonate, polysulfone, polyvinyl chloride,? Listyrene 1,1? Liimi P1 is manufactured by applying a coating material to a portion of a transparent or translucent film made of a polymer compound such as polyethylene or polyzolopyrene. The type of coating material is not particularly limited, and it must be durable and have excellent adhesion to the film used, and can provide an opacity of 60 inches or more without making the coating film too thick. Any paint or ink can be used as the coating material, if any. In addition, the opacity used in this specification, JIS P-8138
The measurements were taken according to the test method for measuring the opacity of paper.
