  1. 、　　　燃焼室の頂部に相当するシリンダヘッドにデッ
    ドボリューム室を設け、該デッドボリューム、室内に上
    下方向に摺動可能な弁体を設け、該弁体を弁棒およびス
    プリングを介してカムに連結し、該カムの運動により前
    記弁体をデッドボリューム室内に上下動させることによ
    り、デッドボリュームを変化させるように構成した内燃
    機関。
