It is possible to capture and record several dozen to η still images on an ultra-small disk with a radius of several centimeters, and it is smaller, lighter, and easier to operate than a combination of a video camera and a VTR. It is characterized by its frequency.

For this purpose, the recording signal format of the disc, the recording track allocated to each image, and the design of the pitch are carefully examined from each perspective, but the ultimate goal is to achieve a single image capture and a uniform performance. 9.There is a constraint that comes from the principle that the wider the area on the matching disk, the better the image quality, or the smaller the number of images that can be recorded, so it is not possible to fully satisfy both requirements. .

By sequentially transmitting images on the time axis and interlacing scanning on the display screen, the resolution possessed by n and *mo is reproduced and high image quality is obtained. Therefore, the electronic camera is equipped with an operation Ig, and when this operation ML instructs high image quality, the original image is recorded as is, that is, on two recording tracks of two sub-images, and the operation button instructs the number of recordings. In such cases, only one side of the sub-picture is recorded on one recording track, so that the operator's request can be met each time. In this case, the operation m at the same time as recording one
By encoding and recording the instruction 1, the settings of the reproducing circuit can be automatically performed at the time of reproduction.

During playback, this recorded signal is transmitted from the disk 6 to the playback circuit 11 via the dots 8 and 9, and is output from the terminal 14 for self-recording and playback operation. Although this is a general outline, since this operation itself is a normal magnetic recording/reproducing operation such as in a VTR@picture, a detailed explanation thereof will be omitted.

Therefore, among the output image signals of the imaging circuit 1, the recording circuit 2 outputs the sub-image signal A2 of the first sub-surface of interest to the number 2 of the disk 6.
Record the information as shown in Figure 2 (1). In this case, the control circuit 16 switches y'''3 so that the respective signals are connected to the head 4.5 during the period in which the signals tIF, gis, At, and 2 arrive. as shown in FIG.
The instruction contents and the distinction between the sub-image signals are multiplied as codes, and these are recorded on the disk 6. Therefore, in this case, both of the two sub-image signals are recorded on the disk 6.
As will be described later, high-quality playback becomes possible.

厘、W。If the content of the number of copies counter 17 is I, the same reproduction method as C cannot be used. The reason for this is that, although it is true that the desired image of the first image is recorded on the recording track No. 3, the number counter 17, which has no relation to this sub-image, is recorded on the recording track No. 4. There is a record of a sword, shield, and sword whose contents are similar to that of an image. Therefore, if this recorded state is reproduced as is by the method described above, two images that are completely unrelated to each other will be displayed as duplicates on the TV monitor (not shown) connected to the terminal 14. Therefore, in this case, the control circuit 16 detects this by decoding the instruction of the insertion button during recording which is multiplexed with the output signal of the head 8 or the head 9, and the control circuit 16 turns the switch f10 as shown in FIG. 3(d). As shown in the figure, the third
As shown in Figure (c) K, only the same mJ 1iij image defect code B1 is inputted in return. In this case, the control circuit 16 adjusts P13 to the continuation cycle of the sub-image signal B1, turns P9, and outputs the output signal of the reproducing circuit 11 to the electronic 14 so that the sub-image signal B1 is unchanged or #11iii. It would be better if the signal B1 is delayed by one button and outputted by the delay line 12 during the period of the horizontal synchronizing signal of the television signal. The reason for this is that in order to smoothly perform interlaced scanning of the two sub-screens on TV 1-Gi, the transmission period of each image is shifted by the period of the horizontal synchronization signal, whereas ! Since the sub image signal B1 is generated at the same period from 1 to 1, if this image is displayed on a TV monitor, a so-called gap will appear at the top of the screen. I recorded only one of the two 114-screen images and selected the number of images using the operation button 15 to reproduce the 1m surface of the disc 6.

良い。In the above explanation, the codes of the control circuits 16 to 16 and the multiplexing method thereof that are multiplexed to the respective mllii surface signals have not been explained.
It is also possible to perform time axis multiplexing by making IiK compatible with the ii screen signal and inserting it at a predetermined position in the horizontal retrace period I'IaTo or the horizontal retrace period of the TV 17 signal format. Frequency multiplexing may be performed outside or within the recording band, or a spatial K11 may be used on the disk 6 using a head (not shown) for codes other than the head 4.5. In addition, in the above explanation, the number of 1iirN images actually taken was used as the instruction for the number of pictures counter 17, and in the explanation of the above operation, the display content of the number of pictures counter 17 itself does not directly play an important role. It is clear that in the operation of an electronic camera, the number counter 17 is not the number of actually captured images, but rather the number of unrecorded tracks on the disk 6, or the number of unrecorded tracks on the disk 6.
A predetermined total number of tracks that can be recorded in a predetermined number of tracks, and a predetermined number of tracks that are unrecorded by calculating backwards from the number of tracks that can be recorded.
It is rather desirable to count the number of times. In this case, the number of sheets counted by the number of sheets counter 170 is higher** depending on the instruction content of the operation button 15.
In the case of a sharp image, the number is increased by 2, and in the case of capturing a large number of images, the number is increased by 1. In the nine embodiments above, subscreen 1
Although it is assumed that the first FF11m surface signal is recorded on only one recording track, it may be only one of the first or second signal, or both may be mixed.

According to iiK, high-quality image recording and playback is possible, although the number of images that can be recorded is limited by using a single disk, or the recorded image quality is slightly degraded, depending on the operation of the operation button. The number of recorded images can be twice as many as the former, or these can be mixed on one disk, and the operator can select one of them with priority each time depending on the shooting surface. Not only this, but the effects are great, such as automatically distinguishing between the two types of recorded signals during reproduction, and obtaining a good reproduced image in either case.
