  1. 変速機ケースと一体のクランクケースが、上、下に二分
    割され、クランク軸と変速機軸が、前記上、下のクラン
    クケースによって挾持されたパワーユニットであって、
    各気筒がｖ字型に配列された多気筒エンジンのパワーユ
    ニットに於いて、前記気筒のうち少くとも一つの気筒が
    、前記上部クランクケースに支承されるとともに、他の
    気筒が、前記上部クランクケースおよび前記下部クラン
    クケースに亘って支承されていることを特徴とする多気
    筒エンジンのパワーユニット。
