Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a dust proof cover, by which a window part that is indispensable for a laser device can be readily cleaned, by covering the device by the dust proof cover having a rubber shaped elastic body whose inner diameter becomes larger from an attaching part on the side of a mirror adjusting mechanism to an attaching part on the side of a laser tube in a taper shape and becomes smaller from the intermediate part also in the taper shape. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted by a mirror 1, a mirror adjusting mechanism 2, a laser 3, and a dust proof cover 4 made of a rubber elastic body which hermetically seals them. In said dust prrof cover 4, the inner diameter of an attaching part 5 to the mirror adjusting mechanism is larger than the outer diameter of an attaching part 6 to the laser tube. The inner diameter of the dust proof cover 4 becomes larger from the attaching part 5 to the central part of the dust proof cover 4 in a taper shape and becomes smaller from the central part to the attaching part 6 to the laser tube. The thickness of the tapered part gradually becomes thick toward the attaching parts with the central part as a boundary. When the dust proof cover 4 is pushed in the direction of an arrow, the dust cover 4 becomes the shape in the Figure and the this state is kept. Therefore, a window 7 of the laser tube can be readily cleaned.
