    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 第２ランドの上下に、トップリング溝と第２リング溝と
    を有するピストンにおいて、該第２ランドのトップリン
    グ溝直下にピストン外周面からピストン中心側にわずか
    に切り込まれた切欠きを形成し、更に第２リング溝側に
    該切欠きに連接するとともに該切欠きより更に深くピス
    トン中心側に切り込まれた容積空間部を前記第２リング
    溝とは連接しないように形成したことを特徴とする内燃
    機関のピストン。
