Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 金属帯の側端部同士を対向せしむべくこれを曲成したオ
    ープンパイプの対向側端部を加熱して両側圧を加えるこ
    とにより溶接して製造される電縫管の溶接点を含むその
    前後の高温領域をシールする電縫管の溶接部シール装置
    において、前記高温領域に向けてその外周面へシールガ
    スを噴射するシールガス吹出部と、 ′該シールガス吹出部の両側にガスカーテンを形成すべ
    く不活性ガスを噴射するガスカーテン吹出部と、 電縫管の電縫部における内面ビード切削用バイトを支持
    すべく前記オープンパイプを通して電縫管内に挿入され
    ているマンドレルの周面に、前記高温領域の上流側及び
    両側に臨ませて配設したシール壁と、 該シール壁に囲われた内部上流側に開口された水流形成
    用ノズルとを具備することを特徴とする電縫管の溶接部
    シール装置。
