Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electric rotary machine with simple and rigid structure and which can be readily manufactured by composing a rotor formed by fusion- bonding conductors radially disposed from an axial center to inner and outer cylinders, a stator wound with solenoid coils parallel to the axial center and a power source controller. CONSTITUTION:Bearings 2 for supporting a shaft are secured onto a base frame, inner end cylinders 3 having a suitable length is engaged with the shaft, a plurality of electroconductive plates 4 of rectangular shape having a suitable length are arranged radially at uniform angle around the shaft as a center, one end of the plates 4 are fusion-bonded, and the other end is secured to the outer end cyllinder 5. The cylinder 5 is formed of a cylindrical electroconductive plate having the same length as the width of the plate 4 with the outer periphery parallel to the shaft, and one end of the plate 4 is secured to the inner surface of the cylinder 5. A coil 6 is wound and fixed in solenoid shape on a cylinder 7 formed via a suitable air gap at the outside of the cylinder 5, and the cylinder 7 is secured onto the frame, thereby forming a stator.

FIG. 1 is an explanation of the overall configuration of this rotating machine. In this figure, 1 is a shaft center, and 2 is a bearing that supports the shaft center and is fixed on the underframe. Reference numeral 3 denotes an inner end cylinder having an appropriate length fitted to the shaft, and 4 a plurality of rectangular electrical conductor plates having an appropriate length, which are arranged radially at equal angles around the axis. One end of the conductor plate 4 is welded to the inner end tube 3, and the other end is fixed to the outer end tube 5 (described later). The outer end cylinder 5 is a cylindrical electric conductor plate having the same length as the width of the electric conductor plate, and the outer periphery is parallel to the axis.
Fix one end of the. Although six electric conductor plates 4 are shown in the illustrated example, it is needless to say that the number of electric conductor plates 4 is not limited to six, and a suitable conductor may be used instead of a conductor plate between the inner and outer ends.

Further, the spaces between the rotor conductors may be filled with an appropriate insulator for the purpose of reinforcing mechanical strength. Reference numeral 6 denotes a coil wound and fixed to a suitable length in a solenoid-like manner around a cylinder 7 parallel to the axial direction and with a suitable gap provided outside the rotor outer end cylinder 5, and the cylinder 7 is fixed to a suitable underframe. to configure the stator.

Reference numeral 8 denotes a control device having a function of controlling the magnitude and phase of the current supplied to the stator coil 6 and the inner end cylinder 3 and outer end cylinder 5 which become the rotor in response to AC power supply, and is a known control means. The detailed explanation will be omitted. In addition,
The above current is supplied to the rotor via a slip ring or the like (not shown).

Next, the operation of this device will be explained. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the operating principle of this device. In the operating state, an alternating current flows through the electrical conductor plate 4, and an alternating magnetic field generated by the coil 6 appears in its vicinity. Now, if we consider the case where the current ■ flows from the inner tube 3 to the outer tube 5 and the direction of the magnetic flux B is from the top of the page to the bottom of the page, as shown in Figure 2 (1), each conductor plate has a A force F as shown in the figure acts, and eventually a counterclockwise torque is generated in the rotor as a whole. Next, considering the state after half a cycle, it becomes as shown in Figure 2 (2), and the current ■ changes from the outer end tube 5 to the inner end tube 3.
The direction of the magnetic flux B is from the bottom of the paper to the top of the paper, and in this case, the force F is also generated in the same direction as in (1), and a torque is generated in the same direction as in (1). In this way, this device produces stable rotation in the same direction and can be used as an electric motor. Note that reversal of the rotational direction of the rotor is realized by shifting the phase difference of the power supplies supplied to the stator and rotor by 180 degrees, and this is performed through the power supply control device 8.
