Since the contact surface of floating balls is flat, air bubbles generated from the electrode plate group and rising when the storage battery is charged enter the floating ball storage chamber and reach the ceiling of the railway car, that is, the bottom of the detection part. When the small bubbles stay, they gradually grow and become larger, and the force of the bubbles pushing down the floating ball acts on the detection part.
This method has disadvantages such as increasing the distance between floating balls that float on the liquid surface and try to come into contact with the detection section, causing detection errors.

である。The present invention eliminates such drawbacks by making the ceiling surface of the floating ball storage chamber provided at the lower end of the detection section of a liquid level detection device equipped with an eddy current electrode, that is, the bottom surface of the detection section protrude in a conical shape, and A floating ball having a diameter sufficiently smaller than the diameter of the floating ball storage chamber is rotatably accommodated in the floating ball storage chamber along the conical surface of the detection section to prevent air bubbles from accumulating that have an adverse effect on the floating ball. It is.

The floating ball rises along the bottom surface 3 of the floating ball, passes through the transparent window 5 of the cage-like floating ball storage chamber 4, and exits.

る。In addition, even if a small bubble adheres to the bottom surface 3 of the detection part 2 and grows, a force along the generatrix of the cone acts, so the bubble starts to move because the force in the direction of the generatrix of the cone becomes greater than the adhesion force, and the bubble starts to move. The floating balls are discharged from above the bottom surface 3 to the outside of the floating ball storage chamber 4.

Sufficient space appears in the vicinity between the separating curved surfaces and is not affected by bubbles.
