Conventionally, when cultivating plants in flowerpots, watering (applying water from above the flowerpot with water, etc.) and fertilization are important requirements, and in particular, it is essential to water frequently. However, because the work is troublesome, it is not permanent, and in many cases, the water supply ends up causing too little or too much water, resulting in the plants being dried up, their roots rotting, and dying, or resulting in poor growth.

The present invention was made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its first purpose is to provide a new flowerpot in which the water supply operation is extremely simple, and which automatically and continuously provides suitable water supply, thereby making it easier for the user to use the plant. This is for convenience, and another purpose is to contribute to the effective use of resources by constructing a flowerpot using a water-absorbent, low-quality paper body made by dissolving and recycling waste paper.

The present invention will be explained below with reference to the drawings. (See Figure 1.2) Plant #1 according to the present invention has a flowerpot whose entirety including the side wall part 2 and the bottom part 8 is made of waste materials such as old newspapers and old magazines. It is characterized by being composed of a water-absorbent, low-quality paper body which is obtained by dissolving the waste paper, then injecting it into a mold, etc., forming it into a desired shape, and drying and solidifying it. The shape of the flower pot 1 having the above-mentioned structure is the same as the conventional flower pot concept, and can be variously shaped, such as a double-truncated inverted conical shape, an inverted pyramid shape, a deep-bottomed shape, a shallow-bottomed shape, etc., depending on the target plant type. In addition, the wall thickness of the side wall portion 2 and the bottom surface s8 is approximately the same as or slightly thicker than that of a conventional ceramic flower pot, and a hole 4 may be formed in the bottom surface portion 8.

The flowerpot 1 with the above structure is used for planting plants, for example, in the first place.
As shown in the figure, it is used by placing it in a shallow water container 8 such as a basin, and pouring a little water 9 into the water container 8 to cover it. In this way, since the low-quality paper material has excellent physical water absorbency, the bottom surface part 8 and the side wall g2 immediately absorb the water 9, and the water 9 is absorbed up to the upper part of the side wall part 2, that is, to the two-person part with spots shown in the figure. An appropriate amount of water can be automatically and continuously supplied to the root hairs 6 of the plant 5 and the broken soil 7 which are completely hydrated and are in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the side wall part 2.

Generally, plants grown in flower pots have the most developed root hairs along the inner circumferential surface of the flower pot, and the density of root hairs in the soil is high, so it is important to water and fertilize these areas.
most effective. Therefore, the water supply to the root hairs 6 in the vicinity by the two water-containing side walls is extremely effective for the plant. The water replenishment effect continues in small amounts without interruption, and the soil 7 that is in contact with the side walls is also replenished and slowly permeates inward, so that the water supplied to the plants becomes excessive. There is no danger, and it is clear that it is stably supplied and has a favorable effect on plant growth.

From the above, the flowerpot of the present invention does not require frequent watering from above the flowerpot with water, etc., as in the conventional case, and the water container 8 is replenished at extremely long intervals to the extent that the water 9 in the water container 8 does not run out. All you need to do is to do this, and you can promote good growth. Therefore, it is most suitable for, for example, the cultivation of cyclamen and the hydroponic cultivation of other plants, which require a large amount of water and make it difficult to supply water from above the flowerpot due to the overgrowth of leaves. On the other hand, as a result of confirmation in one embodiment, the flower pot of the present invention is not easily deformed by the above-mentioned water-containing action and can withstand use for a considerable period of time. It has the advantage of being easy to use as a daily consumable item.

Next, to illustrate the main embodiment of the present invention, when melt molding is performed in the above structure, if a fertilizer such as powder fertilizer is mixed and contained in the low quality paper material, the above water replenishing effect can be obtained. At the same time, the fertilizer content is drained and replenished, so there is no need for fertilization during plant cultivation, and good plant cultivation can be carried out very easily, making it extremely suitable for general households or for use by inexperienced users. In yet another embodiment, during melt molding as described above, a coloring agent, dye, etc., which is not harmful to plants, such as a food coloring agent, and whose color clearly changes when wet and when dry, is mixed into the low-quality paper material. By containing water, the appearance becomes beautiful when in use, and the water-containing portion of the side wall 2 can be clearly seen by two people, so the advantage is that the state of water supply to the plant concerned and the amount of water in the water container 8 can be immediately determined. It is even more convenient to use. Furthermore, if striped patterns 10 are arranged on the outer periphery of the side wall 2 of the flowerpot as shown in FIG. The color contrast between the water-containing portion 10 and the water-containing portion 2A makes the above-mentioned external judgment easier. Furthermore, if a specific pattern is made to stand out due to the color change due to water content, the outer periphery of the flower pot will form a dynamic pattern, improving the aesthetic appearance and usability.

As described above, the present invention improves convenience for users by eliminating the conventional troublesome daily care of potted plants, promotes good growth of plants, and also enables effective recycling of waste paper. This has the effect of contributing to social needs for resource utilization.
