Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] 1. Consisting of a female threaded portion, a thin cylindrical portion extending from the female threaded portion, and a flange portion provided at the end of this cylindrical portion, the thin cylindrical portion passing through the bow of a plate-like member can be used with a tool. What is claimed is: 1. A blind nut which is fixed to a plate-like member by deformation, characterized in that a protrusion is provided on at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the thin-walled cylindrical portion. 2. The blind nut according to item 1, wherein the protrusion comprises a plurality of ribs provided at approximately equal intervals on the outer peripheral surface of the thin cylindrical portion. 3. The blind nut according to item 1, wherein the outer surface of the thin cylindrical portion is formed in a polygonal shape. 4. The blind nut according to item 1, wherein the projection is tapered from the flange portion toward the female thread portion. 5. The blind nut according to item 1, wherein the axial length of the protrusion is equal to or less than the thickness of the plate member. 6. The blind nut according to any one of items 2 and 3, wherein the hole of the plate member is formed in a shape to receive a thin cylindrical portion provided with a protrusion. 7. The hole of the plate member has a diameter equal to or slightly larger than the outer diameter of the thin cylindrical portion provided with the projection.
