Normally, in the case of agricultural water, the water intake casing 2 is located near the water surface to take in hot water, but when drawing water with as little turbidity as possible (clean water) such as industrial water, the air inside the float 1 is connected to a flexible pipe. At step 27, water is put into the drain flow 1-1, and the water intake case 2 is submerged in the low turbidity water layer, so that low turbidity water is taken from the water layer.

As explained above, according to the present invention, a guide rail facing the discharge hole bored in the dam is provided inside the dam, and a retaining part that engages with the guide rail is provided so that the guide rail is moved along the guide rail. A door body is provided that can move up and down and has a discharge hole that communicates with the water conduit pipe and the discharge hole drilled in the dam, and the water conduit pipe is connected to the discharge hole of the door body so that the door body can freely rotate. Since they are connected, when inspecting, repairing, or dismantling the water intake device, the door body 11 is raised along the guide rails 21 and 21, and the float 1, water intake case 2, and water conduit pipe 7 are removed.
