Abstract

PURPOSE:To transmit data efficiently in a short time, by providing a data automatic generator at a terminal device side and transmitting required data automatically in response to the command and data from an information processing device. CONSTITUTION:The operating test of a terminal device is performed at on-line from a central computer. In this case, a central information processor 4 is provided with a data generation start (also stop) means 3, and a terminal device 2 is provided with a data automatic generating mean 10 to sequentially generate required data C from said data automatic generating means 10 in response to a data automatic generation start command. A and an initial set data B from said data generation start means 3, and said data C is transmitted to the information processor 4. Thus, the confirmation of the operating state can be made efficiently in a short time without despatching the operator at each terminal.

The conventional technique for checking the operation of terminal devices such as display devices connected to a central computer is to dispatch an operator to each display device and have the operator perform the necessary operations in response to commands from the computer. It was a method similar to doing this.

The present WA was devised to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional method described above, and its purpose is to provide automatic data generation means on the terminal device side, and to use the means to generate commands and data sent from the information processing device side. In response to the request, the above means sends the required data to the information processing device, thereby eliminating the need for an operator at the terminal device and efficiently transmitting the required data online in a short period of time. It is important to provide an information processing method that can send and receive information.
