Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、二枚の金属製の環状体を重ね合わせ、その半
径方向断面上において、これらの環状体の中程のみを融
着させ、この環状体を二枚の金属製の板状環体で挟持さ
せたことを特徴とする金属がスケットに関するもので、
その目的とするところは、密封部分の圧接力が強くて密
封性が高く、弾性が大でくりかえし使用が可能であり、
しかも復元力が大でくりかえし使用ができ、内周方及び
外周方のいずれからの漏洩をも防止し得る金属ガスケッ
トを得るにある。
本発明金属ガスケットを例示図面により説明す る。
（１）及び（２）は内部環状体で銅板製である。
これらの内部環状体は重ね合わせて、その半径方向断面
上において、これらの内部環状体の中程のみを適宜の手
段によって融着させる。たとえば、抵抗溶接あるいは高
周波溶接等の手段によって融着させる。融着させた内部
環状体（１）及び（２）の内周及び外周は例示のように
両端を互いに相離れるように構成させる。従って、この
内部環状体は一体になって、その半径方向断面はほぼ×
の字状になる。この内部環状体（１）及び（２）は外部
環体（３）及び（４）で挟持させる。これらの外部環体
はたとえばアルミニウム系の材料で造ってある。必要に
応じて、外部環体（３）及び（４）の内周及び外周は止
め環（５）及び（６）で軽くはさむ。
このように構成し、一体となったこのガスケットを密封
すべき二平面間に圧縮して挟持させる。
しかるときは、内部環状体（１）及び（２）はそれぞれ
外部環体（３）及び（４）に圧接し、かつ これらの外部環体をそれぞれ上記の密封すべき面に圧接
する。この場合、内部環状体の内周及び外周がその弾性
に基き特に圧接部分の接触圧力の強さを強め、密封性を
高める。また、内部環状体（１）及び（２）はその半径
方向断面が×の字形になっているので、この部の弾性が
大で復元力が強く、くりかえし使用が可能である。また
、前述のように断面が×の字形になっているために、内
周方からの圧力流体及び外周方からの圧力流体の双方に
対し、それぞれ自己緊塞性があって、いずれの方向の密
封に対しても高い密封性を発揮する。
また、圧力流体の圧力が低い場合にも、内部環状体の半
径方向断面において、四個所に接触圧力の高い部分があ
り、これらの部分の各接触圧力分分は内周及び外周から
の圧力流体の漏洩を密封しやすくなっている。
なお、本発明の金属ガスケットはその実施に当り、内部
環状体（１）及び（２）の融着部を薄く即ち凹みをもた
せることにより、上記接触圧力分布をより効果的ならし
めることができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 二枚の金属製の環状体を重ね合わせ、その半径方向断面
    上において、これらの環状体の中程のみを融着させ、こ
    の環状体を二枚の金属製の板状環体で挟持させたことを
    特徴とする金属ガスケット。
