CONSTITUTION:In a method wherein two types of electromagnets 2, 3 are connected with each other in series and are excited by single main power source 1, intermediate taps 5 are provided at an arbitrary positions of one of the electromagnets 3. With such structure, one of intermediate taps 5 taken out is chosen to make electromotive force variable. In addition, when an auxiliary coil 4 or shunt is used together with the electromagnet 3, fine-regulation of electromotive force is made possible. Thus, the economical efficiency of exciting method is enhanced.
