That is, in those figures, a is an outer shell equipped with an inflow pipe b, an outflow pipe C1, and a discharge pipe d, e is a perforated pipe arranged concentrically within the outer shell a, and f is an inner shell of the inflow pipe. The equipped butterfly valve prevents shellfish, dirt, and fish from being mixed in the seawater introduced into the outer shell a through the butterfly valve f through the inflow pipe.
Foreign matter such as seaweeds once adheres to the outer circumferential surface of the porous pipe e, but the flow of seawater flowing into the inflow pipe is controlled by the butterfly valve f provided on the upstream side of the porous pipe e, that is, inside the inflow pipe. The vortex is used to cause a swirling flow, and the foreign matter adhering to the outer peripheral surface of the porous tube e is temporarily floated, and the discharge tube is gradually removed while swirling between the porous tube e and the outer tube a. On the other hand, the seawater from which foreign substances have been separated and removed in the manner described above is used as cooling water for condensers, etc. of thermal power plants, etc. via outflow pipe C. ing.

The above-mentioned conventional water intake device has a relatively simple structure and is effective in that it has excellent performance, but the present invention has a completely different structure from the conventional device, and yet exhibits the same characteristics. It was proposed for the purpose of providing a water intake device.

In FIGS. 3 and 4, 1 is a cylindrical outer shell that is provided with an inflow pipe 1a, an outflow pipe 1b, and a discharge pipe 1c of seawater or water as in the conventional device, and 2 is an axis of the outer shell 1. A perforated tube whose cross section is formed into an elliptical or similar shape and is rotatably disposed so that its center coincides with the axis of the outer shell 1, and the upper end of the porous tube 2 is closed. It is closed by a plate 2a, and a gear 2b is integrally fixed to the upper surface of the closing plate 2a.

Reference numeral 3 denotes an electric motor fixed to a fixed part (not shown), and a gear 3b fixed to an output shaft 3a of the electric motor 3 is similar to the gear 2b.
The porous tube 2 is rotated around its axis by the electric motor 3.

A gasket 4 is installed between the outer periphery of the upper and lower ends of the porous tube 2 and the outer shell 1, and the space between them is fluid-tightly sealed.

One embodiment of the water intake device of the present invention is constructed as described above, and when the water intake device starts operating and is taken out from the sea, river, lake, etc., the water flowing in from the inflow pipe 1a will flow through the porous holes. It flows into the inside of the porous pipe 2 through the through holes of the pipe 2, exits the outflow pipe 1b, and reaches a condenser or the like of a thermal power plant or the like.

In this case, foreign substances such as shellfish, rocks, fish, etc. in the water that flowed in from the inflow pipe 1a temporarily adhere to the outer peripheral surface of the porous pipe 2, but the porous pipe 2 is rotated around its axis.
Moreover, since the cross-sectional shape is almost elliptical,
As shown in FIG. 5, a vortex is generated around the perforated pipe 2, the flow of water is greatly disturbed, and the foreign matter adhering to the outer circumferential surface of the perforated pipe 2 floats to the surface, and the protruding portion 2c of the perforated pipe 2, Outer body 1
Since the gap between the porous tube 2 and the porous tube 2 is narrow, the flow velocity in the gap increases, and foreign matter on the outer circumferential surface of the porous tube 2 is peeled off from the surface.

そして上記のようにして多孔管2から剥離された異物は
、流水とともに排出管1cから外部に排出される。
The foreign matter separated from the porous pipe 2 as described above is discharged to the outside from the discharge pipe 1c together with running water.

Since the water intake device of the present invention has the above-described configuration and operation, the present invention realizes a water intake device that has a completely different configuration from the above-mentioned conventional water intake device but has the same performance. This can be cited as a practical effect.
