図中、１はホッパ台、２ａはシート状印刷用紙、３はピ
ックローラ、５は給紙ローラ、６は印字ヘヅド、７はプ
ラテン、８は矯正ローラ、８ａは駆動ローラ、８ｂは従

当接させて先揃えを行わせたあと当該給紙ローラ５を回
転させて印刷用紙を供給する給紙装置の用紙先揃え機構
において、給紙ローラ５の手前側に用紙の中央部に当接
して用紙に弱い摩擦駆動力を与える矯正ローラ８を設け
るとともにこの矯正ローラ８と給紙ローラ５との間で用
紙の先端辺を検出するセンサ９を設け、矯正ローラ８を
回転させながら給紙された用紙の先端がセンサ９により
検出されたあと所定時間矯正ローラ８を回転させた後で
給紙ロアう５を回転させることを特徴とする、給紙装置
