  1. エンジンの作動状態と停止状態とで単なるサンプリング
    周期でデータを収集する車両用データ収集装置において
    、エンジン作動中のサンプリング周期を決定する第１の
    カウンタと、エンジン停止中のサンプリング周期を決定
    する第２のカウンタと、エンジンの作業状態と停止状態
    との運転モード切換えに際して上記第１及び第２のカウ
    ンタの一方の内容をモード切換時に生じるサンプリング
    周期のずれとしての時間データとして記憶する手段とを
    備えたことを特徴とする車両用データ収集装置。
