Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of storage to a disc device, by discriminating a data processing command signal through the provision of a data compression circuit for a data write circuit and a dara expansion circuit for a data readout circuit, and controlling the transit of the signals to the compression or the expanding circuit. CONSTITUTION:In writing a data possible for data compression such as picture data to a disc device, a control signal 6 consisting of a data compression command signal and a data 4 are transmitted, an AND gate 12 is opened with the signal 6 and a write data 7 compressed at a compression circuit 5 are transmitted to the disc device.
