第１図は光アイソレータを持った半導体レーザと光ファ
イバの結合器を示す原理図、第２図はこの考案の一実施
例による光アイソレータを示す断面図、第３図は第２図
の光アイソレータを使った半導体レーザと光ファイバと
の結合を行う光結合器を示す分解斜視図、第４図はこの
考案の他の実施例による光アイソレータを示す斜視略図
である。 図中、１０は光アイソレータ、１１は偏光子、１２はフ
ァラデー効果素子、１３は検光子、１４はリング状マグ
ネット、１５．１５Ａ、１６は円柱状支持体、１８は溝
、１９は４分の１波長板、２０はケース、２１は半導体
レーザ、２２は屈折率分布型レンズ、２３は円形嵌合孔
、３０は枠体、３１はレセプタクル、３２は枠上面であ
る。なお、図中の同一符号は同一または相当部分を示す
。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 半導体レーザを取り付けているケースの前面に円形嵌合
    孔を設け、入射側に円柱状支持体を持つあらかじめ一体
    化された光アイソレータの前記円柱状支持体を前記円形
    嵌合孔に光軸を中心に回転固定自在に挿入し、前記半導
    体レーザ出射光の偏光面に合わせて調整できる光フアイ
    バコネクタの接続のためのレセプタクルを前記光アイソ
    レータの出射側に備えたことを特徴とする光結合器。
