Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate wrinkles or droopings even when the ink film of a wide width is utilized by a method wherein the reeling forces of the ink film for thermal transferring are equalized and a tension roller keeping a stripping angle between a recording paper and the ink film in constant is provided. CONSTITUTION:After the ink film 6, reeled out of a supplying reel 2, is put on the recording paper 8, reeled out of the supplying reel 7, they are fed inbetween a theremal head 11 and a platen 12 to effect a printing, then, the recording paper is received by a feed roller 9 while the ink film 6 is stripped from the recording paper 8 by a strip roller 4, thereafter, is reeled by a reeling roller 3 through the tension roller 5. The tension roller 5 is constituted of a plurality of pipe shaped bodies 5a-5n. By passing the ink film through such tension roller 5, the ink film is given an uniform tension even after the ink film 6 is extended or contracted complicatedly and carried with the wrinkles or droopings, and thereby enabling the printing of high quality.

After the ink film is heated by the thermal head and the ink is transferred, there may be wrinkles and sagging due to the heat stretching of the base material. In the process, the entire surface of the ink film must be stretched with a tensile force to eliminate wrinkles and sagging, and the cutting angle FIl must be kept constant.

However, wrinkles and sag occurring in wide ink films used in 7-axis printers, printers, etc. are often caused by partial expansion and contraction. Even if it was possible to remove the sag in the wrinkles of both 11Hb, it was not possible to remove the sag in the midline fold. In addition, the method of removing creases and sagging of the ink film by applying a heavy weight to the tension row 20 weight indicated by reference numeral 1 in Fig. 1 and Fig. It was defective and even had the drawback that the thin ink film would break.

By providing a combined tension mechanism, each tension row 2 corresponds to the elongation of the ink film according to its respective weight, and the tension of the entire surface of the wide ink film is equalized by 1 & 0. The tensile ink is designed to keep the angle of the recording paper and ink film on the ripping roller at a constant value even in the winding ink, making it possible to create a transfer recorder with good print image quality.

When operating the thermal transfer recording device constructed as described above, first, the recording paper rolling mechanism is driven to rotate the feed rollers 9, 1o and the platen at the same circumferential speed in the direction of the arrow. Subsequently, when the transfer mechanism is driven, the thermal head 11 moves upward and is closely pressed against the platen 12 while overlapping the ink film 6 and recording paper 87.

゛At this time, if the thermal head 11 is heated, the ink on the ink film 6 will be transferred to the recording paper 8.
Also, at this time, since they are rotating on the back plate, they are pressed tightly and the paper 8 and ink film 6 are sent out from the top 11 to the back plate 12 and the paper at the same speed.

Next, the peeling operation of the recording paper 8 and the ink film 6 will be described. In the transfer operation 9, the recording paper 8 and the ink film 6 sent out from the grating 12 and the thermal head 11 are guided tL over the cover plate 94, and then the recording paper 8 is the feed 90-ra 9, 10, and the ink film 6 is tensioned*
-55/-1 The ink film 6, which has been selectively or selectively treated and heated by the transfer operation at a fixed peeling angle [given and peeled], expands and contracts in a complicated manner, causing wrinkles and sagging. 9. This is exposed on top of the cover roller 4 or immediately after the cover roller 2.

As explained above, this tension mechanism 25a, ! lb,
5a,...5n correspond to each other, so if the ink film 6 is wide and the t1 recording rim 8
By keeping the tension angle constant over the entire width, it is possible to obtain print quality without sagging 20. Also, depending on this tension mechanism, it is necessary to overextend the tension force on the ink film 9. This may cause misprints such as transfer misalignment between the border paper and the ink film, as well as broken ink film.
Good print quality without causing scratches - quality T40
