    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 用紙の減少量に応じて上昇する用紙トレイを有する自動
    給紙装置の用紙残量検知装置において、用紙トレイ１と
    静止部材２との間に設けられた光源部３およびオプティ
    カルファイバーアレイ４によって該用紙トレイ１−の位
    置を検知する残量検知部５と、操作パネルもしくは表示
    パネル６上に設けられ該オプティカルファイバーアレイ
    ４の出光端に光学的に結合された残量表示部７とを有す
    ることを特徴とする用紙残量検知装置。
