Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は異った高さを持つ毛の房を設けた歯ブラシに関
する。
以前から、毛の頂部によって形成されるＳき面が使用者
の歯列弓の平均曲面に解剖学的に適合するように、高さ
が一定でなく変わるようにした毛をつけた歯ブラシが知
られている。特に、毛をすべて「スカラー」配置に従っ
て配列した歯ブラシ、即ち毛と柄と反対の歯ブラシ端部
との間の距離が大きくなるにつれて直線的に毛の高さが
高くなるようにしたもの、が知られている。
この種のスカラー歯ブラシは従来の歯ブラシと比較する
といくつかの利点を与える。例えば、それは狭い口裂ま
たは前庭を持った人の場合でも容易に最も灸の後臼歯ま
で届くことができ、上歯茎の割目から食物の付着物を満
足に取除くことができ、また細菌の集斑も取除くことが
でき、同時にゴム質に刺激マツサージを行なうことがで
きる。
スカラー歯ブラシを用いることによって得られるすべて
の有利な結果は、歯ブラシの柄と反対の端から離れるに
つれて高さが高くなった第１連の房と、一定の高さの房
を持った第２連の房とから成り、第１連の６房と第２連
の他の房とを交互に配列した群に毛を並べたことを特徴
とする特許な列に房を並べた毛をつけた歯ブラシによっ
て更に増大させることができることがわかった。
本発明の対象である歯ブラシの好ましい実施例によれば
、第１連に属する毛の高さはその毛が歯ブラシの柄と反
対の端から遠くへ離れるほど直線状に高くなる。事実、
歯ブラシを本発明によって快えられる操作方式に従って
用いた場合には、一定の＾さの毛は、ガム質を穏やかに
マツサージしながら、異った高さの毛と共動して歯の間
の最も届き難い隙間に達する。
次に添付の図面を特に参照して単なる例示のためにする
以下の詳細な説明によって本発明はより良く理解できよ
う。
添付の図面は真直ぐな柄を持った歯ブラシを示している
けれども、本発明の特殊な特徴は「角度をつけた」歯ブ
ラシにも全く同様に適用できるものである。この［角度
をつけた］という用語は、歯科用の鏡と同じ傾きになっ
たものと、これと反対の傾きになったものとの双方を持
った歯ブラシを意味する。（第１の場合は角度は１８０
度より小さく、第２の場合は１８０度より大きい。）本
発明による歯ブラシは実質的に真直ぐで固い柄１でその
端部２（柄３の反対側）に平行な列に並べた一連の孔を
設け、これに毛の房を挿入したものから成る。
第１図について特に述べると、毛ユニットは、毛自体が
柄３と反対の歯ブラシの端部２から離れるほど高さが直
線状に増大する第１連の毛（５１，５２，５３，５４，
５５，５６）と、第１連の房と規則的に交互に並べたそ
の房の高さを一定にした第２連の毛（６）とから成って
いる。
第１．２、及び３図に示す本発明による歯ブラシの実際
的な具体例においては（６）の連の房の高さは漸増する
高さを持った第１の房連５１．５２．５３・・・・・の
高さよりも僅かに低いけれども、一定の高さの連の最初
の房（６）の高さを変化する高さの連の最初の房（５１
）と同しかまたは僅かにこれよりも大きくした歯ブラシ
も本発明の範囲内に入るとみなされると理解される。
勿論、歯ブラシの製造に精通した何人にも明らかなよう
に、柄及び毛の製造に用いる寸法も材料も共に大トく変
えることができる。
例えば、毛に選ばれる材料を中破、中軟、あるうは軟毛
をつけた歯ブラシを望むかどうかによって異ならせても
よい。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、柄と反対の歯ブラシの端部から離れるほど高さが高
    くなるようにした第１連の房（５１，５２，５３・・・
    ・・）と、第１連の毛の房と規間的に交互に配列した一
    定の高さを持った第２連の房（６）とから毛が全体とし
    て（７）成っていることを特徴とする、平行な列に配列
    された房に類別される毛をつけた歯ブラシ。 ２、＠１連の房（５’、５２．５３・・・・・）と柄と
    反対の歯ブラシの端部との距離が大きくなるにつれて該
    第１連の房の高さが直線状に大きくなることを特徴とす
    る請求の範囲＠１項記載の歯ブラシ。
