Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a specified type to be easily replaced, by providing positioning holes or projections at the tips of some of arm parts, in a printing head wherein a type is provided at one end of each of a plurality of arm parts extending radially from a central part. CONSTITUTION:The type 5 is provided at the tip part of each of a plurality of the arm parts 4 extending radially from the central part, some of the arm parts 4a are provided respectively with two positioning holes 6 at their tip parts. A small bolck 7 is provided with a specified type 5a on one side thereof and two projections 9 on the other side. When using the small block 7, the projections 9 of the block 7 are press-fitted or adhered into the positioning holes 6. Accordingly, a small number of the types 5a which are frequently used and are heavily consumed are placed in the small block 7, and only the block 7 is replaced when the type 5a is consumed, whereby the useful life of the type head as a whole can be prolonged.
