    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 筐体内に収納されてほぼ直線状の風路を構成する筒形の
    多孔質吸音体と、上記風路の出口に位置して上記筐体に
    突設された拡大管と、上記筐体の囲壁に形成された通気
    孔とを備え、上記多孔質吸音体を風路方向において複数
    段に分割構成し、各段の吸音体の空孔径を変えることに
    より互に吸音特性を異ならせて設定した内燃機関用排気
    消音装置。
