Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify construction, by a method wherein a connecting sleeve is provided at an operating rod of a hydraulic cylinder for setting a cab into a riding position or a tilted position, and the operating rod is rotatably connected to the cab through the connecting sleeve and a connecting rod capable of being reciprocally slidden in the connecting sleeve. CONSTITUTION:When the cab 12 is in the riding position, a projection 17 provided at the tip of the connecting sleeve 15 is released from a projection clamp 18 by retracting the operating rod 31, and the cab 12 is elastically supported on a chassis 11. When the cab 12 is lifted to the tilted position, the tip of the sleeve 15 collides against a support surface 35 of the connecting rod 16, and when the cab 12 is rotated until the center of gravity thereof approaches a tilting shaft 23, the projection 17 is hooked by a curved surface of the clamp 18 in the condition of being pressed against the support surface 35, and is slidden on the curved surface. Then, the operating cylinder 14 is stopped, the cab 12 is prevented from being tilted forwards in such an extent that the center of gravity thereof exceeds the shaft 23, and is maintained in the tilted position. Accordingly, a means to restrict the tilting movement of the cab 12 is not increased in size, the construction is simplified, and the number of component parts is reduced.

Traditionally, this type of tilt-cab vehicle rotates the cab relative to the chassis around a tilt pin to lift the cab from a riding position to a tilted position, and to move the cab from a tilted position to a riding position. For lowering it is equipped with a hydraulic jack, i.e. a hydraulic operating cylinder.

However, since the cab is resiliently supported on its chassis, the operating cylinder is provided with means to allow free movement of the cab on the chassis and to move the cab from the riding position. When raised into a tilted position, means have been provided to restrict movement of the cab relative to the chassis in the overtilt range, where the center of gravity of the cab is tilted forward beyond the tilt shaft.

However, in the former case, the piston rod is slidably fitted in the bearing hole of the trunnion rotatably held in the cab bracket, and the hydraulic jack is connected to the cab, so the cab can freely move relative to the chassis. Moreover, for sufficient mechanical strength, the trunnion must be made thick or made of expensive material; In contrast, it was structurally more complex, required advanced technology to manufacture, and was expensive.

The connecting pin 36 is connected to the upper bracket 21 on the track l.
A pair of hanging plate portions are provided at the rear with appropriate spacing in the lateral direction of G, so that it can be passed between the hanging plate portions,
Both ends are held by the hanging plate. Therefore, one end of the connecting rod 16 is located between the hanging plate portions of the upper bracket 21, and one end thereof is rotatably connected to the connecting pin 36.

The protrusion 17 extends in a direction including the axis of rotation of the connecting rod 16, that is, an axis substantially parallel to the axis of the connecting rod 36.
In this case, it is formed as a flange protruding from the tip of the connecting sleeve 15, and the lower surface of the flange is machined into a partially spherical surface, but it is of course possible to machine it into a chi-shaped surface. Further, the protrusion length of the protrusion 17 is determined so that it fits between the hanging plate portions of the upper bracket 21.

As can be seen from FIG. 3, the protruding flanges 18 are protruded from the inner surfaces of the pair of hanging plate portions of the upper bracket 21 below the connecting bin 36 and in close proximity to the connecting bin 36, facing each other. There is. In particular, those protruding flanges 18 have an upper surface curved concentrically to the axis of the connecting bin 36, so that the cab 1z is connected to its chassis 1.
1, when the tail shaft 23 is lifted from the riding position to the tilted position by the operation cylinder 14, the connecting sleeve 15 is brought into contact with the surface 35 while the protrusion 17 is hooked. In other words, it is held in a pressed state and the projection 17 is slidably moved on the curved surface.

In the truck 10, if the cab 12 is placed in the riding position as shown in FIG. 1, the operating rod 31 is retracted into the cylinder 30.
The protrusion 17 formed at the tip of the connecting sleeve 15 is detached from the protrusion clamp 18, so that the cab 12 is attached to the chassis 11.
The cab 'iz is elastically supported on the chassis 11. As a result, when the truck 10 is running, vibrations on the chassis 11 side are caused by the cab 12.
The deterioration of the riding comfort of the cab 12 due to the locking action of the operation cylinder 14 is prevented.

Also, if the cab 12 is rotated about the tilt shaft 23 and lifted from the riding position to the tilted position by the operating cylinder 14, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the operating rod 31 is attached to the other end of the cylinder 30. The tip of the connecting sleeve 15 abuts against the surface 35 of the connecting rod 16, and the cab 12 is moved to the tilt shaft 23.
The cab 12 is lifted upward by the operation cylinder 14 while being rotated.

When the cab 12 is rotated around the tilt shaft 23 until the center of gravity of the cab approaches the upper part of the tilt shaft 23, the protrusion 17 is pressed against the curved surface of the protrusion flange 18, with the receiver pressed against the surface 35. The operating cylinder 14 is stopped at the position shown in FIG. 2, and the cab 12 is tilted forward so that the center of gravity of the cab exceeds the tilt shaft 23. It is held in a tilted position on the chassis 11.

According to the above invention, there is provided a hydraulic operating cylinder for lifting and lowering the cab from the riding position to the tilted position and from the tilted position to the riding position with respect to the chassis.
A connecting sleeve disposed at one end of the cylinder of the operating cylinder and the other end of the operating rod, and a connecting rod fitted into the connecting sleeve so as to be able to reciprocate;
Since it is rotatably connected to the cab, the free movement of the cab is smoothly guided when the cab is in the riding position relative to the chassis, i.e. in the driving position, especially when large loads are applied. The cab is guided smoothly even in the free movement of the cab, and the cab is lifted from the riding position to the tilted position by the rotation of the tilt shaft relative to the chassis, and the center of gravity of the cab is When the cab tries to tilt further forward beyond the tilt shaft, the protrusion formed at the tip of the connecting sleeve and the protrusion flange on the cab side
The tilting movement of the cab relative to the chassis is reliably suppressed, and the means for smoothing the free movement of the cab and the means for suppressing the tilting movement of the cab are not made large;
In addition, the mechanical strength of these means is improved, the structure is simplified, the number of parts is reduced, and the manufacturing cost is reduced, making them extremely practical.

[Scope of Claims] A shaft rotatably coupled to the chassis at the front of the chassis via a tilt shaft so as to be rotated between a riding position and a tilted position; A cab elastically supported thereon, a cylinder, a piston fitted in the cylinder so as to be able to reciprocate and slide, and one end of the cylinder being able to be inserted into and removed from the outside of the cylinder, a hydraulic operating cylinder having one end of the cylinder and the operating rod rotatably connected to the chassis behind the tilt shaft; A connecting sleeve disposed at one end of the cylinder and the other end of the operating rod, and behind the tilt shaft, one end is rotatably connected to the cab, and the other end is fitted into the connecting sleeve so as to be reciprocally slidable. or (2) a connecting rod having a surface for receiving the connecting sleeve, a protrusion disposed on the connecting sleeve in a direction including an axis substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the connecting rod, and a connecting rod that receives the connecting sleeve; When lifting the chassis around its tilt shaft from the riding position to the leaning position,
A tilt-cab type automobile including a protrusion flange arranged on the cab so as to hold the connecting sleeve in abutment against a surface while hooking the protrusion.
