Such a fish body alignment device is normally required as a pre-processing step for the fish head cutting process, but in the past, in many cases, the fish bodies were aligned on the conveyor due to busy work, and the fish bodies were automatically sorted. Although several alignment devices have been proposed, none of them have been fully satisfactory.

In summary, the fish body aligning device of the present invention includes a small flat belt having a traveling direction parallel to the outbound path surface of the conveyor in a plane orthogonal to the traveling direction of the conveyor that conveys the fish bodies to the fish head cutting process, etc. By causing the fish to be lined up to run above the conveyor and colliding with the flat belt with their heads at a predetermined angle of inclination, the fish heads are tilted in the running direction of the flat belt, changing the plain direction. It is characterized by being configured to fall onto a tray on a conveyor.

A fish transport conveyor IFi is a conveyor that transports fish bodies with their heads aligned to fish processing equipment such as a rotary knife 2 for cutting fish heads, and a receiving tray 6 on which fish bodies are placed in a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement A.
... 3 are arranged in parallel. The shape of this saucer may be any shape, such as the semicircular shape shown in FIG. 2, or the rectangular or trapezoidal shape shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.
Alternatively, partitions may be provided at predetermined intervals on a mesh conveyor. An attitude changing belt 4 is provided above near the starting end of the outward path of the fish conveyor 1. This attitude changing belt 4 is stretched by pulleys 5 and 6 having shafts vertically provided outside the left and right sides of the fish transport conveyor 1, and is driven in the direction of arrow B. It lies within a plane perpendicular to the traveling direction A of the conveyor 1, and its outward traveling direction C is parallel to the outward traveling surface of the conveyor 1. A fish introduction conveyor 8 and two guides 9 and 10 are provided in order to introduce the fish at a predetermined angle of inclination with respect to the outward path of the attitude changing belt. That is, this fish body introduction conveyor 8 is a flat belt type with a width sufficient to convey fish bodies vertically in a line, and its traveling direction is parallel to the conveyor conveyor 1, and the end of its forward path and the conversion belt are parallel to each other. It has a gap large enough for a fish to pass between it and the outward path surface 7. Further, the guides 9 and 10 are used to slightly tilt the direction of the fish body when it reaches the end of the introduction conveyor 8 so that the fish body does not fall off. Furthermore, in order to define the position of the tip of the fish sent in the direction of arrow C along the conversion bell HC, the guide 1
A stopper 11 is attached following 0. Note that instead of the above-mentioned fish introduction device, the fish bodies may be introduced in a line using a chute. In addition, as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG.
', the introduction conveyor 8', etc. can be arranged symmetrically, and in that case, the introduction belts 4 and 4' can be constituted by one belt.

Next, the effect will be explained. As shown in the figure, when a fish is introduced head first onto the fish introduction conveyor 8, the direction of the fish head is slightly tilted by the guides 9 and 10, and collides with the converting belt 4 at a predetermined angle of inclination. Thereafter, the fish body is carried by the conversion belt 4 and moves forward on its own with its head at the forefront, so that its posture is rotated at right angles. When the tip of the fish body collides with the fish stopper 11, it falls from the violet and is stored in the trays 6...6 on the conveyor 1.

According to the present invention, the fish bodies are automatically arranged and housed on the saucer, thereby saving manpower. Furthermore, since the direction of movement of the fish in the fish body introduction device is the same as the direction of movement of the transport conveyor, the overall size of the device can be reduced.
