Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）着座乗員に向けてインストルメントパネルに形成
    されたエアバッグ飛出開口と、このエアバッグ飛出開口
    の背後に配置されるとともに内部に折たたみ状態のエア
    バッグを格納する箱状のリアクションプレートと、前記
    エアバッグ飛出開口を閉じるように配置されるとともに
    、−前記エアバッグの展開時に、これにより押し開けら
    れ、該エアバッグの乗員前面への展開を可能と一〜−−
    −−−”＋　、、、／するエアバッグドアと、を有する
    自動車用エアバッグ装置において、前記リアクションプ
    レートの前端縁の少な（とも一部を、該エアバ、：ング
    ドア裏面に接近させるとともに、外方に屈曲するフラン
    ジ部を形成し、かつ、該フランジ部内端を前記エアバッ
    グ飛出開口の内側面よりも内方に位置させたことを特徴
    とする自動車用エアバッグ装置。
  2. （２）前記リアクションプレニトの前記フランジ部およ
    びエアバッグドア周縁部の少なくとも一部を前゛記エア
    バッグ飛出開口周縁部の裏面側にこれに接近して延在さ
    せ、かつ、該延在部分と前記エアバッグ飛出開口周縁部
    の補強用インサートを、インストルメントパネル表側か
    らみて一部を重ね合わせたことを特徴とする実用新案登
    録請求の範囲第１項記載の自動車用エアバッグ装置。
