Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent oil from flowing out of a stove, even if a kerosene stove is turned over, and to enable to extinguish fire in a short time, by providing a notched part, at least to a part of combustion main wick on the side contacting with a wick outer cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a kerosene stove is turned over, kerosene oil filling up the gap between a combustion main wick 4c and a wick guide cylinder 2 flows into a notched part 16, provided between an ignition and flame-spreading wick 4b and a wick outer cylinder. The oil flowing into the notched part 16 cannot flow out to the side of a combustion tray 17, because surface tension is produced between the ignition and flame-spreading wick 4b and the wick outer cylinder 3. With such an arrangement, flames can be extinguished in a short time, and safety characteristics is improved in the kerosene stove.

The structure is such that combustion and extinguishing are performed by the downward movement. In order to prevent this wick from burning out due to the heat of combustion, a glass wick is usually used as a non-combustible wick in the combustion part.
Since this glass core has insufficient durability against degraded oil, etc., a core made of highly durable ceramic fiber, etc.
-Las ceramic core has come to be used.

However, this porous ceramic wick has a high kerosene content, so it is always saturated, and when an oil combustion device falls over, the kerosene filling the combustion part spills out and burns, so it takes a long time to extinguish the fire. It took a long time and was very dangerous.

To explain the overturned state of this oil combustion device using Fig. 3, the porous ceramic core 4C [combustion upper core] provided between the core guide tube 2 and the core outer tube 3 so as to be able to move up and down is a metal core. Since it is held by the holder 16, the space between the wick guide tube 2 and the upper combustion wick 4C is filled with kerosene to a distance of 9 meters. And if the oil combustion equipment falls over, the combustion upper wick 4C
Due to the action of the vibration fire extinguishing system (not shown), the contaminants sink into the space between the core guide tube 2 and the outer core tube 3 and extinguish the fire. The 3 pages of kerosene that had been in the fire flowed out to the fire pan 17 side and continued to burn. Therefore, it took a long time to extinguish the fire.

The present invention provides a lamp wick that is movable up and down between a core outer cylinder and a core guide cylinder, a main combustion window made of a material with high petroleum content such as porous ceramic in the combustion part of this wick, and a wick of this main combustion window. The above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional combustion engine are solved by attaching a core holder to the guide cylinder side and providing a notch in at least a portion of the main combustion window that contacts the core outer cylinder side.

If the oil combustion device is configured in this way, when the oil combustion device falls over as shown in FIG. A notch 16 provided in the main combustion window 4c between the main combustion window 4b and the core outer cylinder.
The kerosene that has flowed into the notch 16 has a surface tension between the ignition wick 4b and the wick outer cylinder 3, and the kerosene flows into the fire pan 1.
The fire will be extinguished in a short time because it will not flow out to side 7.
