An alloy material consisting of 4 to 6% by weight, 9 to 11% by weight of Ag, 13 to 15% by weight of Cu, and 0.5 to 1.5% by weight of Ni,
The total amount of Si and Zr is 0 without changing the composition ratio.
.. It is made by adding 5 to 5% by weight.

, Pt4-6% by weight, Ag9-11% by weight, Cu13-
The reason why a total of 0.5 to 5 weight % of Si and Zr is added to the alloy material consisting of 15 weight % and Ni 0.5 to 1.5 weight % without changing the composition ratio is as follows. This is to increase the hardness in order to improve the adhesion resistance and wear resistance of the alloy material. If it is less than 0.5% by weight, it will not be effective in increasing the hardness, and if it exceeds 10% by weight, it will be plastically processed. This makes processing difficult.

。Next, using the sliding contact material according to the present invention and the conventional sliding contact material having the compositions shown in the left space below, a diameter of 0.7 mm was obtained, respectively.
Brush wire rods were made, each cut into 8 mm lengths, and 2
1 parallel, one end 10mm wide, 13mm long, 0 thick
.. A brush contact was made by welding to a 2 mm base material and bending a 2R arc-shaped contact part at the other end. Then, each brush contact was brought into contact with a disc-shaped commutator, and the commutator was rotated in forward and reverse directions to conduct a sliding test under the following test conditions, and the amount of friction and contact resistance were measured. We obtained the results shown in the figure.
