It is described in the US patent specification dated December 22nd,
The recording paper used in this type of recording method is either paper, insulating sheet material such as polyethylene terephthalate or polypropylene on which filler particles, colored particles, and a binder are coated, or black matte paper as shown in Figure 1. Generally, the vapor-deposited film 2 is formed directly on chemical paper 1, and in the former case, it is possible to evenly nucleate filler particles with a large particle size and colored particles with a small particle size onto the sheet member with a binder. However, in the latter case, it is necessary to treat the paper to prevent the dispersion of structural water during vapor deposition, and the surface of the discharge point becomes fluffy, resulting in a grayish-black color. As you can see, it has the drawbacks of being time-consuming to manufacture and difficult to mass produce, resulting in high costs.

能である。In addition, synthetic resin films are generally stretched to improve their physical properties.
It has been designed to improve transparency, barrier properties, and heat shrinkability, and those that have undergone biaxial stretching are more difficult to tear than those that have not been stretched, and will not tear even with a slight cut. Even if it is torn, the direction of tearing is not constant because it is stretched evenly along both axes. In particular, synthetic resin films with high mechanical stability and dimensional stability, such as polyester and polyolefin, cannot be cut by hand unless they are cut using a knife.

There are also drawbacks, such as dot printing, which cannot be clearly printed because the discharge occurs at the outer periphery of the discharge printing electrode needle or is localized in one part, resulting in unclear printing.

This is an enlarged cross-sectional view when a fine rough surface layer 11A made of plastic is formed on one surface by extrusion lamination or the like.
As shown in the figure, the metal vapor deposited films 13 overlap and the fine rough surface layer 1
The metal vapor deposited film 1 is formed so as to follow the fine irregularities formed on 1A.
Since fine irregularities are also formed on the surface of the metal 30, the light incident on the surface of the metal vapor deposited layer is diffusely reflected extremely effectively even in a state where the metal vapor deposited layer is in a state of separation, so that the surface of the vapor deposited film exhibits a pure white color.

る。As described above, the first effect of the present invention is that a colored light diffuse reflection matte layer is formed on one surface of a transparent plastic sheet material by extrusion lamination or the like, and a vapor deposited film is formed on the outer surface of the matte layer. Therefore, the surface of the vapor deposited layer is pure white and does not sparkle, and the recorded character part is transparently colored, giving it a deep carved feel.It is very easy to see, and there is no need to matte the surface, so it can be patterned. In addition, since an ultra-thin surface protection and discharge optimization layer is formed on the surface of the vapor deposited layer, the printing is clear, there are no traces of electrode scanning lines, and there is no bias because the dots discharge evenly. It has the advantage of being able to produce clear, easy-to-read prints without traces of electrode scanning lines.

る等の効果がある。In addition to the first effect, the second effect of the present invention is that one surface of the plastic sheet material is matted into a finely roughened surface by physical or chemical means, and the matted outer surface of the sheet material is A vapor-deposited film was formed on the vapor-deposited layer to form a light-diffusion-reflecting vapor-deposited layer, paper was attached to the other side of the sheet material, and an extremely thin surface protection/discharge optimization layer was formed on the surface of the vapor-deposited layer. The plastic sheet base has moderate rigidity even if it is an extremely thin plastic film, and is easy to tear. The surface of the vapor deposited layer is pure white and does not sparkle, and the recording character part is transparent and has deep carvings. In addition, this invention does not require a resin coating treatment, which is a pre-process for metallized paper (a process to prevent the release of moisture and gas in the paper), and is not hygroscopic like paper, making it easy to see. There is no curling phenomenon and no insulation deterioration. Since a resin sheet can be made thinner than paper, the winding diameter can be made smaller, which is extremely advantageous for vacuum chambers that require a certain degree of ease, such as batch deposition. As a result, there is no quality deterioration of the deposited film due to acid or alkali contained in the paper, or an accompanying increase in resistance, and there is no bad odor emitted during discharge recording, which is a common problem with vapor deposited materials, making it suitable for mass production, and depending on the application. There are effects such as being able to obtain appropriate and inexpensive discharge recording sheets, such as being able to select paper of any thickness.

It can be easily torn from a desired point in a predetermined direction, and furthermore, the present invention does not require a resin coating treatment, which is a pre-process for vapor-deposited paper (a process to prevent the release of moisture and gas in the paper), and it can be torn like paper. It is not hygroscopic and therefore does not cause curling or deteriorate insulation. In addition, since resin sheets can be made thinner than paper, the winding diameter can be made smaller, which is advantageous for vacuum chambers with a fixed capacity such as the Tsuchi type vapor deposition. There is no accompanying increase in resistance, no bad odor is emitted during discharge recording, which is a common problem with vapor-deposited paper, and it is suitable for mass productivity, and has the advantage of producing inexpensive discharge recording sheets.
