の回動操作によるシフト操作可能に支持されたシフトイ
ンナレバーと、このレバーのボス部両側におけるシフト
アンドセレクトレバーシャフトの軸上に配置されたカラ
ーと、これらのカラー及び前記のハウジング内壁面の間
′    に介装され、カラーを通じてシフトインナレ
バーにセレクトリターン力を付与するリターンスプリン
グとを備えたシフトアンドセレクトコントロール機構に
おいて、前記カラーのいずれか一方とシフトインナレバ
ーのボス部との相対向する端部に相互にかみ合い可能な
ドグクラッチ歯をそれぞれ形成し、常態ではこれらのク
ラッチ歯が互いにかみ合わないように前記リターンスプ
リングの捩り力によってカラーに一方向の回転力を付与
して位置決めし、しかもこれらのクラッチ歯はシフトイ
ンナレバーをリバースセレクト位置でこれと反対方向の
前進速ヘシフトしたときに相互にかみ合うような形状に
設定し、さらに前記のクラッチ歯を有するカラーはリバ
ースシフト方向への回転を阻止するストッパーを備えて
いることを特徴とした歯車変速iのシフトアンドセレク
トコントロール機構。
