Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. バルブのステムとバルブガイドとのクリアランスに入る
    エンジンオイルの量を前記バルブガイドの上端に装着し
    たステムシールで調整するようにした内燃機関において
    、前記ステムシールのリップ部を複数個の扇形領域に区
    画し、扇形状をなす金属板の内周縁を前記領域毎にそれ
    ぞれ埋設固定してリップ部の外周に不連続の金属リング
    を形成すると共に、吸気ポート内の圧力に応答して往復
    移動するアクチュエータを設け、該アクチュエータと前
    記金属リングとを連動させる連動機構を設けることによ
    り、機関の吸気ポート内の圧力が高くなるに伴なって金
    属リングを上方に揺動させてステムシールのリップ角度
    を小さくするように構成したことを特徴とする内燃機関
    のバルブステムシール装置。
