  1. シャフトシール室内に配設されたシャフトシールカーボ
    ンのカバープレートに接したシート面に該シート面上か
    ら外周側に指向された少なくとも１個以上の給油溝を設
    けるとともに、前記シャフトシール室内部側に面した前
    記シャフトシール力・−ボンの内面側から該シャフトシ
    ールカーボンの前記シート面上の前記給油溝、に貫通さ
    れた給油孔を連設したことを特徴とするシャフトシール
    装置。
