Abstract

PURPOSE:To purge the humidity in a space under the floor and further to operate a ventilating device intermittently so as to shorten the total operating time and reduce the operation cost by automatically operating the ventilating device by the difference between the humidity in the space under the floor and the humidity in the external air. CONSTITUTION:Sensing parts 6 and 7 for sensing the humidity in the space under the floor and the humidity in the external air, are installed in a space under the floor and a space under the eaves. When the difference between the humidity in the space under the floor and the humidity of the external air becomes HON, the contact 11 is closed, power is supplied to a motor 10, and the ventilating device 1 starts its operation, the humidity under the floor being discharged out of the hourse and the humidity in the space under the floor being gradually decreased. When the difference between the humidity in the space under the floor and the humidity in the external air becomes HOFF, the contact 11 is opened, power supply to the motor 10 is stopped and the operation of the ventilating device 1 is also stopped. Thereafter, the humidity from the ground surface is gradually accumulated. When the difference between the acuumulated humidity and the humidity in the external air becomes HON, the operation of the ventilating device 1 is similarly resumed. As a result, the ventilating device 1 carries out intermittent operations. Hence, the operation time may be shortened, and further, the humidity under the floor may be accurately discharged without requiring labor.

Conventional column configuration and its problems Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, ventilation of the underfloor space was performed by a ventilation gallery 17101 provided on the foundation 102 of the building. However, this ventilation is based on natural drafts, and the ventilation effect is extremely poor, and hardly any ventilation effect can be expected, especially on days when there is no wind. As a result, the moisture rising from the ground could not be sufficiently discharged, and in most cases it remained damp all year round. Furthermore, even though the outside air gradually dries out after a rainy day, the moisture in the space under the floor often persists no matter how long it takes.

As a result, the space under the floor became a dark and humid space, which became a breeding ground for pests and diseases. The high humidity also had the disadvantage of having a negative impact on the lifespan of the building itself.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks by automatically and accurately controlling a ventilation system for discharging moisture from the under-floor space without the need for human intervention. It is an object of the present invention to provide an underfloor ventilation operation control device which expels moisture, and which operates intermittently to shorten the total operating time and reduce operating costs.

In Figures 2 and 3, 1 is a ventilation system installed on the foundation 12, which is the foundation of the building, in communication with the underfloor space to discharge moisture from the underfloor space; A switch (hereinafter referred to as a temperature difference switch) whose contact closes when the set humidity difference reaches H8N and opens when the humidity difference between the two points becomes HOFF (<HON), 3 is a switch whose contact of temperature difference switch 2 is closed. HoN setting knob 4 is provided on the temperature difference switch 2 to set the humidity difference HON to be closed, and 4 is a HOFF knob provided on the temperature difference switch 2 to set the humidity difference HOFF, which is the point at which the contact of the temperature difference switch 2 is opened. The setting knob 5 is an operation indicator lamp provided on the temperature difference switch 2 to indicate the open/closed state of the contact of the temperature difference switch 2, and is lit when the contact of the temperature difference switch 2 is closed. 6 is a sensing part for sensing the humidity in the underfloor space, and is installed in the underfloor space. 7 is a sensing part for sensing the humidity of the outside air, and is installed under the 91 eaves in a place that is not exposed to direct sunlight and is not exposed to rain. Signals from each sensing portion are sent to the temperature difference switch 2 via conductors 8 and 9.

In the above configuration, the humidity difference HON when the contact 11 is closed and the humidity difference HOFF when the contact 11 is opened are set using the HoN setting knob 3, HOFF setting knob 4, and the humidity difference HOFF when the contact 11 is closed (however, set so that -HON>HOFF) 0) Sensing parts 6 and 7 for sensing underfloor space humidity and outside air humidity
are installed in the underfloor space and under the eaves, respectively, and when the humidity difference between the underfloor space humidity layer and the outside air humidity becomes HoN, contact 11
is closed.

The motor 10 is energized and the ventilation system #1 starts operating. Then, the moisture under the floor is discharged outdoors, the humidity in the underfloor space gradually decreases, and when the humidity difference with the outside air humidity becomes HOFF, the contact 11 opens and the power to the motor 1o is stopped, and the operation of the ventilation system 1 is stopped. After that, when the humidity of the ground gradually increases and the humidity difference between the humidity of the outside air and the humidity of the outside air becomes HoN, the operation of the ventilation system 1 is restarted as described above. As described above, the operation is repeated until the humidity difference between the humidity of the underfloor space and the humidity of the outside air no longer reaches HoN.During this period, the ventilation system 1 is operated intermittently.Compared to when the ventilation system 1 is operated continuously, the operation time is is short and requires no extra operating costs, and 1
0mata allows you to accurately exhaust moisture from under the floor without any manual intervention.

Figure 5 is an example of the time-humidity characteristics when multiple underfloor spaces are ventilated by the underfloor ventilation system based on the present invention. The solid curve represents the humidity in the underfloor space, and the dashed line represents the humidity in the underfloor space. The curve is the humidity of the outside air. Hours 11, 12, 13

Furthermore, the timing of the start and end of the driving cycle can be accurately determined without requiring any human intervention. As shown in Figure 1, the curve represented by the broken line is the humidity of the underfloor space when the ventilation gear 101 is installed on the base and the underfloor space is not forcibly ventilated by the ventilation system, and the humidity of the outside air. Even if the humidity decreases, the humidity in the underfloor space does not decrease easily. Effects of the Invention'As described above, according to the present invention,
It is possible to automatically and accurately exhaust the moisture in the space under the floor, which has a negative impact on the lifespan of the building itself, without any human intervention, and by operating it intermittently, it also reduces the need for ventilation equipment. This has the effect of making it possible to reduce operating costs.◇
